Basic is aimed at a laptop with built-in graphics, which is what most office machines have. Balanced suits a recent laptop with built-in graphics or a modest workstation. High suits a computer with a separate graphics card. If you are not sure, leave this on Automatic and change it later from the settings inside the simulation.

No training content is removed at any level. Every scenario, every decision point, every branch, every spoken line and every caption is identical on High, Balanced and Basic. Only the way the picture is drawn changes.
